The College is under CCTV Surveillance and has the LAN, Wi-Fi & Intercom facilities.
DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES:
There are various departmental activities throughout the year for students’ benefit. As education
is a practical subject that involves understanding of the everyday life of a student as well as the
society, it cannot be retained by books. The various activities involve:
*Extension Lectures which were organized by the department. Lectures of eminent teachers
enlighten the students. Through interactive sessions, students are benefited immensely.
*For 3rd year (Hons.) students, the department organizes educational tours to different places. Till
now we have visited the NIMH-National Institute of Mentally Handicapped and “Jora Sanko –
Thakur Bari” and “Belur Math” this year. Through these educational tours, students’ interest
increase in their studies.
*Our department also celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
* “Bikash” – The wall Magazine prepared by students with their innovative ideas, thoughts and
feelings.
