The education system in India dates back to ancient times when children were taught in Gurukuls. The Guru taught according to the child's interest, subjects varying from Sanskrit to the Holy Scriptures and Mathematics to Metaphysics. The educational requirements of today are very different from those of the past because of increasing competition and the advancement of science and technology. The students must be prepared with the skills required to face future challenges. They can do it effortlessly if we can make the surrounding stimulating and purposeful. Considering the changing trends in academics, research and innovation, the education sector is witnessing a massive change and it is necessary to 'accept the change'. Belda College happily combines sound academic accomplishment with an extensive, vivacious co-curricular programme that includes sports and leadership training. Our mission is to teach the love of knowledge to our students. For this, we intend to develop the skills and demeanor of lifelong 'learning,' essential for making responsible and accountable global citizens. This will make them immensely capable of facing the future with resilience and optimism. Lush green campus, spacious and technology-supported classrooms, virtual classrooms, well-stocked library with user-centric information services, OPAC search and Inflibnet facilities, boy's hostels, canteens, gymnasiums, health center, Wi-Fi connectivity campus, solar system, rainwater harvesting, equipped seminar and theatre hall, purified water facility, ramp and lift for differently abled students, several add on courses, field study, students credit card support service, etc. are few among them. We intend to build our own Indoor Auditorium, more audio-visual support for teaching, more classrooms, and better Library facilities for students. We are also committed to sustaining the infrastructure and developing it further.
Students are our brand ambassadors, and for their holistic development, the college not only provides vibrant, high-quality teaching but an opportunity for cutting-edge research for them to carry out independently in the form of projects, dissertations and theses, and the more advanced the degree, the greater the research content.
