Courses Offered: Bachelor of Science in Physics, B. Sc (General) in PHYSICS, Master of Science in Physics.
Teaching methods: Project work assigned to students, Lectures with PowerPoint presentations are conducted in department

Strengths:
- Students discuss their problems and teachers guide them accordingly

Weaknesses:
- Lack of skilled/qualified supporting technical staff.
- Insufficient number of instrumental facility/ set up for experiment.
- Requires better Industry-institute collaboration
- Requires better interaction of faculty with other National and International Universities/ research organization
Opportunities:
- As a rural area lot of fields are still lacking higher education which can beexplored.
Challenges:
- To train the students in excellent communication skills
- Mushrooming of private coaching institutes offering courses with easy success at the cost of .real idea of Physics.
Future plans :
- To give boost to research.
- To start Add-on course related to current trends.
